NPO e-Education (hereinafter referred to as e-Education) creates the following privacy policy inorder to ;
- protect the privacy of donors, beneficiaries, and organization staff members involved in the activities and the organization management
- and establish an effective working environment to solve issues in education in developing countries.
e-Education will comply with the applicable laws and regulations concerning privacy protection in Japan and acquire personal information by legal and fair means to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
Personal information provided by you such as your name, address, phone number, E-mail address and so forth, will be used within the scope of the purpose specified at the time of acquisition or the following purposes.
- PR activities related to our projects
- Providing information on our activity events, campaigns, and so forth
- Releasing information for a need of support ; donations, volunteers, and so forth
- Affairs related to each of the items mentioned above
e-Education uses personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use and will not use it for any other purpose, unless required by law, when the purpose of use is notified or announced separately, or the consent of the individual is obtained.
e-Education will not provide personal information to a third party unless consent from the person himself/herself/themselves is obtained or there is a legitimate reason such as requirement by law.
e-Education manages personal information appropriately by taking necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of the personal information it handles. In addition, regarding the handling of personal information, we will appropriately supervise employees, and when outsourcing the handling of personal information, we will supervise the outsourcee to manage personal information appropriately.
When there is a request from the person regarding their personal information e-Education holds, for disclosure, correction / addition / deletion, suspension / deletion of use, suspension of provision to a third party, or notification of purpose of use, e-Education will respond to the request after confirming the request is made by the person following the applicable laws and regulations concerning privacy protection in Japan.
